Creemore Business Improvement Area Board
The Creemore Business Improvement Area (BIA) works to strengthen and promote Creemore’s downtown as a thriving commercial district. Through coordinated beautification projects, marketing initiatives, community events, and improvements to public spaces, the Creemore BIA enhances the local business environment and supports economic vitality.
Under Section 204 of the Municipal Act, 2001, municipalities may designate an improvement area and establish a Board of Management to:
a) to oversee the improvement, beautification and maintenance of municipally owned land, buildings and structures in the area beyond that provided at the expense of the municipality generally; and
b) to promote the area as a business or shopping area. 2001, c. 25 s. 201 (1).
The Creemore BIA has been established by By-law 88-003, as amended by By-law 17-118, establishing a BIA Constitution.

Creemore BIA Membership
All commercial and industrial property owners and business tenants within the BIA boundary are automatic members. Members are encouraged to participate in BIA initiatives, meetings, and the annual budget process to help shape the success of Creemore’s business community.
