    The economic well-being of Clearview Township is directly impacted by the successes and challenges facing its business community.

    What happens to the information collected? 

    Information collected through the Business Insights Survey is used for municipal analysis purposes and to maintain a list of organizations across the township. Information will not be published and will be used for internal analysis only.

    Owners, managers or leaders of businesses, non-profit organizations and community groups should complete this brief survey.

  • Clearview Township recognizes that the recent tariff developments are creating substantial uncertainties and presenting considerable challenges to our business community. To address these concerns and help businesses and tourism operators navigate these challenging and complex times, the Simcoe County Economic Development Office and Tourism Simcoe County created dedicated websites in response to U.S. tariffs:

    We continue to closely monitor relevant developments and provide updates on available resources as they become available.

  • The application intake period for the Ontario Together Trade Fund (OTTF) provides financial support to help eligible Ontario companies impacted by trade disruptions enhance resilience, strengthen capacity, build local supply chains in Ontario, and expand market reach. The fund supports near-term investments so businesses can serve more interprovincial customers, develop new markets, and re-shore critical supply chains in the face of U.S. tariffs. Projects must address the impacts of U.S. trade disruptions and align with Ontario’s key economic priorities. The types of support available include funding and complementary supports and services.

  • In response to the recent ice storm that caused significant devastation and hardship for many local communities, Hydro One has launched the Ice Storm Recovery Grant. This grant offers up to $10,000 to directly impacted communities and municipalities to support local relief, recovery, and cleanup efforts.

    Applications for the Ice Storm 2025 Recovery Grant are now open. For more information or to apply, please click here. 

  • Please note that Walmart Canada will be hosting its first Canada Growth Summit in July 2025. The purpose of this event is said to be to add even more local products in-stores and online.

    On July 9, Canadian suppliers and entrepreneurs from across the country will have the opportunity to pitch their products to Walmart Canada merchants.

    This will be an in-person event at [their] head office in Mississauga and include:

    • Keynote presentations hosted by the Walmart Canada leadership team
    • Educational supplier development sessions and networking opportunities  
    • Individual meetings for each invited supplier to pitch their product to a Walmart merchant for a chance to be listed in-store and/or online
    • Dedicated support to list products on Walmart Canada’s growing online Marketplace

    Those who are interested can submit an application through the portal until May 9th. Their application will be reviewed and if approved, they will be invited to the summit.
