The Township will be submitting a proposed amendment to Cemetery By-law 24-01 that will standardize the rules and regulations in accordance with Provincial legislation, including but not limited to the sale of interment rights, transfer of interment rights, and other regulations recommended by the Registrar of the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002.

In addition, the proposed By-law may be reviewed at the Township's Administration Centre located at 217 Gideon St., Stayner ON, L0M 1S0 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The By-law is also available on the Township's website www.clearview.ca
The proposed cemetery By-law is subject to the approval of the Registrar, Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002. For more information, please contact the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO) at (647) 483-2645 or 1-844-493-6356.
There are many cemeteries that are located within the Township of Clearview, some of which are owned by the Township. Only a few cemeteries are still considered to be active. Each of the cemeteries is unique, whether it be through the history or the layout.
