Lamb – Zoning By-law & Official Plan Amendment

Official Plan Amendment proposes 

• The purpose of this Amendment is to redesignate lands from the Residential to Transition Corridor with new Site-Specific Policies and from Future Development to Residential and Transition Corridor with new Site-Specific Policies.

  Zoning By-law Amendment proposes:

  • To change the zoning from the Development Area (DA) Zone to the Residential Multiple Low Density Exception XX - Holding X (RS3-XX(HX)) Zone, Residential Multiple Low Density Exception YY - Holding X (RS3-YY(HX)) Zone, Residential Multiple Low Density Exception ZZ - Holding X (RS3-ZZ(HX)), Residential Multiple Medium Density Exception XX – Holding X (RS5-XX(HX)), General Commercial Exception – Holding X (C1-XX(HX)), Recreation Lands (REC), and Stormwater Management Facilities (SM).

The effect of the amendments will be to permit the development of approximately 939 residential dwelling units and approximately 8,000 m² of commercial gross floor area, that will be developed in a number of phases, with the overall development consisting of a mixture of single detached residential dwellings, semi-detached residential dwellings, townhouses, apartment residential above ground level commercial, commercial accommodation, and parkland and open space.
