Did you know that Clearview Township offers a monthly pre-authorized payment plan program for property taxes? Ratepayers can have property tax payments automatically withdrawn from their bank or financial institution. Enrollment in the plan is free and there are no service charges that apply.

What are the Benefits of a Monthly Payment Plan?
- It’s easier on your budget by spreading payments over 10 months and no payments in November and December.
- A Pre-authorized Payment Plan will allow you to make more frequent, smaller regular payments on your property taxes, eliminate the writing of cheques, avoid the risk of interest charges, and save you the cost of postage and cheques.
How Does it Work?
In January of each year, your enrollment in the Monthly Pre-Authorized Payment Plan will be confirmed by letter or email indicating the amount to be withdrawn from your account on the last business day of each month from January – May. In June, your final bill will be calculated showing you the total final tax levy for the current year, less the interim taxes already paid. The final bill will indicate the amount to be withdrawn from June – October and no payments will be withdrawn in November and December.
