Mayor Doug Measures would like to announce that all members of Clearview Council have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Made individually, the decision to receive both doses was to protect their families and loved ones and support Clearview as a community in the fight against COVID-19. Mayor Measures is encouraging residents to consider helping to fight COVID-19 and get vaccinated.
“I feel that it’s important, as a Council, and our responsibility as leaders in the community to lead by example by announcing that we are all vaccinated. I wish to continue to move our community forward safely and as a Council, operate efficiently serving the public,” said Mayor Measures.
With mass immunization clinics now closed, there are still many options available to receive the vaccine including pop-up clinics, by appointment or walk-in at the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit located at 29 Sperling Drive in Barrie, or through participating pharmacies and health practitioners.
Mayor Measures feels it is important to support the health of our community, “Our individual decisions to get both shots demonstrates that we support the effort to see members of our community be vaccinated as we face the fourth wave of COVID-19 together.”
