Klondike Park Road Watermain – Notice to Residents (Asphalt Paving)

Construction Details
Please be advised that the Contractor (Arnott Construction Ltd.) is tentatively scheduled to pave Concession 12 Sunnidale Road from County Road 10 to approximately 100 metres east of Klondike Park Road on Thursday, October 8, 2026 (weather permitting and barring any unforeseen delays or issues). A full road closure on Concession 12 Sunnidale Road (from County Road 10 to approximately 100 metres east of Klondike Park Road) will be required so the asphalt paving can be completed as safely and efficiently as possible. Paving operations will commence at the east end of the project (closest to Klondike Park Road) and progress in a western direction towards County Road 10.
If weather and/or other delays are encountered, paving operations will be rescheduled for Tuesday October 13, 2026 or Wednesday October 14, 2026.
Work Hours
It is anticipated that the work will take place between 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Vehicle and Pedestrian Access
• Through traffic and other vehicle access to Concession 12 Sunnidale Road will not be available during the above-mentioned times as the road will be closed to traffic. Traffic control and detour signage will be installed to advise and guide motorists during the road closure.
• Access will be available for residents living within the construction zone when paving operations permit, however there will be periods when access to driveways will be restricted during the above noted times (i.e. while paving operations are being performed in front of your property and to allow sufficient time for the asphalt to cool prior to being driven on). In order to avoid being impacted by the paving operations, residents are requested to move their vehicles outside the limits of construction or park on the other side of the road (i.e. west bound lane of Concession 12) prior to 7:00 a.m.
• Access for school buses and emergency services (police, fire and medical response) will be maintained at all times.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained but also periodically restricted.
