On May 28, 2026, the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation, in partnership with Clearview Township, celebrated the installation of a wind phone at the Clearview EcoPark to help visitors process grief.
A wind phone is an unconnected phone placed in a peaceful setting where people can speak to someone they are grieving, creating a quiet and reflective space to remember and feel connected to loved ones no longer with us.
The installation offers the community a meaningful place for reflection, remembrance and healing while supporting Hospice Georgian Triangle’s grief and bereavement work. It complements the Memorial Forest located next to the EcoPark, where living trees symbolize the memories of loved ones who have passed.
The EcoPark, Memorial Forest, and newly installed wind phone are available to the community at 300 Mowat Street North in Stayner.
