The Township undertook a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) to address the need for Sewage Collection to service the existing unserviced area in the south east quadrant of Stayner. The EA outcome preferred option is to service the new areas as well as the existing properties. This also supports the Township’s Official Plan in providing adequate and safe systems of water supply, sanitary sewage disposal and storm water management to all areas of development. As part of the next step in this process, residents are being provided the opportunity to ask questions regarding the project.
In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve made some adjustments to the way the community can participate in Information Sessions. This session is the opportunity to ask Township staff and consultants your questions regarding the Sewer Servicing project. Members of the public are invited to submit written comments or make an oral statement during the virtual Information Session by completing the form below. All written and oral questions/comments will be addressed during the session.
Criteria
- All requests to participate (whether written or oral) during the Public Information Session must be received prior to noon on Tuesday, September 28th.
- Any person providing written or oral statements through the Public Information Session will be considered by the Township of Clearview as consent to the individual’s personal information and comments. This information may become part of the public record.
- Virtual attendance is encouraged, if you do not have the necessary technology to participate virtually, you may use a telephone and call in.
- If you are providing written comments, they will be reviewed during the information session.
- If you are making an oral statement during the information session you will receive further detailed instructions on how to participate virtually.
- If making an oral statement, on the day of the session we ask that you join the meeting ten (10) minutes before the start time.
- You will have five (5) minutes to ask your questions or provide your comments, please be prepared.
