Beginning in late October, the Blue Mountain Snowdrifters Snowmobile Club will undertake improvements to the historic railway bridge located at Batteaux Road and 6th Line.
Work includes clearing brush and overgrowth, removing old railway ties, rehabilitating the bridge, installing guardrails, and regrading the trail. Weather permitting, work is expected to begin in late October and be completed by mid-December.
These improvements will enhance the multi-use trail and improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists, and snowmobile users.
