News Release - Clearview Youth Centre 2021 Summer Programming

The Clearview Youth Centre is now open to the public two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a diverse range of both drop-in and registered programming to serve Clearview’s youth while Ontario reopens.

The Youth Centres’ drop-in “On the Road” Park Program will allow the centre to serve youth in Stayner, Creemore and New Lowell by engaging them in sports, recreation and a variety of outdoor activities held at Clearview Parks:

• Mondays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Ives Park in Stayner
• Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gowan Memorial Park in Creemore
• Wednesdays from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at New Lowell’s Recreation Park

The EcoPark Trailblazers program at the Clearview EcoPark on Mondays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM provides an opportunity to explore, learn and discover while helping to keep the EcoPark Trail safe and maintained for all visitors. Volunteer hours will be available to all participants.

Strict COVID-19 safety protocols including a capacity limit of 10 youth, screening, contact tracing, face-coverings and physical distancing remain in place. All Youth Centre summer programs are free for youth aged 10 to 18 years old. For more details or to register for the EcoPark Trailblazers program visit www.discoverclearview.ca/youth-centre.
