Wear your sequins, sparkles and of course your snow pants to the 45th Annual Sunnidale Winterama as we celebrate “Jazzin’ the 20’s” from January 30th to February 2nd in New Lowell.
Sunnidale Winterama is a winter-themed festival presented by Clearview Township that has celebrated winter activities since 1975 in the village of New Lowell. Spend time in the great outdoors and take part in the family fun, all weekend long.
Enjoy the Spaghetti Supper, Burning of the Green, Fireworks, Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Show, Pancake Breakfast, Soup Cook-Off, and the famous Bed Races! New this year, the Teen Dance on Thursday, January 30th starting at 7:00 PM. Meet the Winterama mascot “Winterama Willie” and compete in the Log Sawing Competition on Saturday, February 1st. Don’t miss opening act the Sultry Katz Burlesque & Broadway show and live music from The Graham Playford Trio at the Adult Dance on February 1st starting at 8:30 PM.
Purchase your Winterama button, a collector’s item since 1975, for $2.00 to participate in all the events. Tickets and buttons can be purchased from various local businesses, the New Lowell Legion and at the Clearview Administration Centre, 217 Gideon Street, Stayner.
