Canada Day Events

Celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday in Stayner and Creemore! Join us in Stayner for a day filled with live music, a parade down Main Street, a BBQ at Stayner Community Arena, and other family activities including heritage displays and children’s activities, free swim at the Stayner pool, and Birthday Cake!. Head over to Creemore where the town will be filled with fun for everyone in the family. At dusk, visit the Creemore Arena to watch the spectacular firework display. Grab a lawn chair and join in on the wonderful celebrations of Canada Day. See below for more information!

51st Annual Road Race

51st Duntroon to Stayner 8km Road Race at 8am. Started in 1967 in celebration of Canada’s Centennial, the race welcomes walkers, cyclists and runners. It starts at the Duntroon Elementary School, follows County Road 91 and ends at the Stayner Community Centre. Trophies and crests awarded. Information: 705-428-2931


Canada Day in Stayner

Stayner Canada Day/Heritage Day in Stayner. NEW ROUTE Canada Day starts at Station Park at 10:30am and finishes at Stayner Community Centre. Enjoy Heritage displays, children’s activities, stilt walker, entertainment and birthday cake! Come out and join the fun, music and the food at the Stayner Community Centre until 3:00pm – sponsored by the Stayner Chamber of Commerce. Great time to be had by all. Canada Day in Creemore

Harold Crawford Memorial Kids Bike Parade from Mill Street Park to the Creemore Legion at 12:45pm. Old Time Games, Dunk Tank, & Street Hockey at the Legion all afternoon. BBQ, food and more. Farmers' Markets

Creemore: 
Saturdays 8 am to 1 pm

Come and enjoy our market with over 20 stalls. Local farmers with their fresh produce, local artisans, fresh baking and hot food give you plenty of reason to visit us every week. Enjoy visiting Creemore while you are here. Tour the Creemore Springs Brewery, visit the art gallery, bookshop, toy store, restaurants, cafes and great stores. You’ll be sure of a warm welcome!
