Notice - Public Participation to Proceed Electronically at Virtual Clearview Council Meetings

At the Special Emergency Meeting of Clearview Council held on April 22, 2020, Council voted to resume the regular Clearview Council Meeting schedule. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic meetings will continue to be held virtually and live-streamed on the Township’s YouTube Channel, www.clearview.ca/YouTube.

Considering this new virtual format, adjustments have been made to allow the community to continue to participate. During the State of Emergency members of the public are invited to communicate directly with Council by completing the ‘Public Participation Period’ form on the Townships website here, www.clearview.ca/public-participation. All requests for Public Participation must be directed to the Mayor and must be received before noon the same day as the regularly scheduled Council Meeting.

No written comments shall refer to personnel matters, litigation or potential litigation or planning matters that have already had a public meeting or any item considered confidential. Any person providing information through public participation will be considered by the Township as consent to the individual’s personal information and comments, and those comments may become part of the public record.

Once the State of Emergency has been lifted, and meetings of council resume in person, the public is invited to attend the council chambers and pose any questions or comments to Council directly.
