Notice - Development Charges Public Meeting October 18th

On Monday October 18, 2021 the Council of the municipality of Clearview Township will hold a public meeting, pursuant to section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997 as amended to present and obtain public input on the municipality’s proposed development charges (D.C) amending by-law and underlying background study.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public meeting. Further to the COVID-19 Pandemic this meeting will be held electronically in accordance with Section 238 of the Municipal Act, 1990 which provides for Electronic Participation where an emergency has been declared to exist in all or part of the municipality under Section 4 or 7.01 of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act.

Any person may attend the public meeting and make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the by-law. Persons wishing to submit comments or address Council for this scheduled meeting should use the online submission form at Submissions must be received by 12:00pm on Friday October 15, 2021.  Written comments received prior to the meeting and submissions made at the public meeting will be considered by Council prior to the enactment of an amended development charges by-law.
