News Release - Story Book Trail Ribbon Cutting June 18th

Date Published:
June 17 2019

Join Mayor Doug Measures, Clearview Council and Clearview Meadows Elementary School to commemorate the opening of the Story Book Trail at Clearview Meadows on Tuesday, June 18th at 2:15 PM.

A joint effort between Clearview Township’s Parks, Culture & Recreation Department and Clearview Meadows Elementary school, the Story Book Trail will link with the 5.5 KM EcoPark Trail loop that connects Clearview Meadows, Stayner Collegiate Institute (SCI), local neighbourhoods and Downtown Stayner.

With special funding provided by Clearview Meadows Elementary School Parent Council, Clearview Township and TD and a pollinator garden provided by SCI’s green energy students and the Simcoe County District School Board, the creation of this trail has been a true community project.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will include a smudging and hand-drumming song, a Land Acknowledgement by student leaders and presentations by Clearview Meadows Elementary, Clearview Township, Simcoe County District School Board and TD. Please join us at Clearview Meadows Elementary School on Tuesday, June 18th at 2:15 PM.
