Clearview Township is thrilled to welcome the public back into the Council Chambers for Public Participation once again. Beginning with the June 27th meeting of Clearview Council, Public Participation will move in-person from the current virtual format. This means that written public participation submissions will no longer be accepted through the online portal.
Meetings will proceed in the current hybrid format with staff and presenters attending virtually and Council, the CAO and Clerk present in the Council Chambers. Seating for the public in the Chambers will be set up to allow for physical distancing.
Clearview welcomes citizens to take part in Public Participation in-person under the following Procedural By-law parameters. Remember, please share the time with your fellow citizens:
- Public Participation is limited to fifteen (15) minutes
- Each person is limited to five (5) minutes
- Questions or comments are to be directed to the Mayor
- Questions shall not refer to personnel matters, litigation or potential litigation or planning matters that have already had a public meeting or any item considered confidential
Please continue to follow the current public health guidelines of the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, maintain physical distance, self-monitor for symptoms and stay home if you are unwell.
