As part of the Simcoe Muskoka District, Clearview entered the Red/Control level of the Ontario Government’s COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe & Open on December 14th.
The framework, introduced on November 3, 2020, places each of Ontario’s public health units within one of five increasingly restrictive colour-coded categories based on virus transmission as indicated by epidemiology, health system capacity and public health system capacity.
The move from Orange/Restrict to Red/Control for the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit puts the following restrictions into effect in Clearview facilities:
Stayner Arena
- Team sports must not be practiced or played except for training (no games or scrimmages)
- Capacity limit of 10 skaters, plus two coaches and staff
Clearview Public Library Branches
- Capacity limit of eight patrons per branch, plus two staff
All service delivery announcements will continue to be communicated through the township website, www.clearview.ca and on Twitter, @Clearview_twp. Subscribe to notifications on the Township’s homepage to stay up to date.
