News Release - Clearview Supporting Simcoe County Paramedics Christmas Toy Drive with Toys for Tickets

Date Published:
November 24 2021

Clearview Township is once again supporting the Simcoe County Paramedics Christmas Toy Drive through the ‘Toys for Tickets’ initiative. The Clearview Township Administration Centre will also be hosting a drop-off donation box starting November 29th.

‘Toys for Tickets’ allows anyone who receives a parking ticket between November 19th and December 17th, 2021, the option to pay the early fee as indicated on the ticket, or to submit a gift card or toy of equal or greater value as payment for the ticket. Residents are being asked to make an appointment with By-law Enforcement when donating to pay a parking ticket.

Similar to 2020, the Paramedics are adhering to public health guidelines and encouraging donations of gift cards or virtual donations. New, unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items and gift cards with the value denoted will also be accepted.

Donations can be dropped off and parking tickets paid during the Admin Centre’s operating hours of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Donations dropped off to the donation bin or received via the ‘Toys for Tickets’ initiative will stay within Clearview, supporting local families in need.
