Date Published:
July 9 2020

As restrictions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic ease throughout Ontario, and more people return to work, service levels on Clearview Public Transit are being increased. Effective Monday, July 13, 2020, Clearview Public Transit Route 1, the Stayner Route, will resume its regular hours of 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM Monday to Saturday and 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Sunday. Ridership will remain free and the Creemore Route (Route 2) will remain temporarily discontinued at this time.

To comply with Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit requirements, which also take effect on Monday, July 13th, riders will be required to wear a face-covering when using Clearview Public Transit. For more details on face-covering requirements please visit the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s website.

Thank you for continuing to follow the advice of the health unit by staying home if unwell, maintaining social distancing, practicing safe hygiene by coughing and sneezing into your sleeve or a tissue and washing your hands often. These recommendations remain in effect in addition to the face-covering requirement.
