WATER AND SEWER DRINKING WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY STATEMENT
It is Clearview Township's aim to ensure safe drinking water to the end user within all Township - operated Water Systems. Through this policy, the Township commits to follow all applicable Legislation & Regulations that are associated with the safety and the delivery of Drinking Water. Through maintenance and continual improvement to the Quality Management System the Township is identifying, measuring, controlling and improving the various core water works processes that will ultimately lead to improved water works performance. 2009 LEAD TESTING
The Township of Clearview Water and Sewer Department is requesting volunteers to be part of the 2009 Lead Sampling Program. This program is in compliance with Provincial Legislation and will provide a more detailed review of lead levels at the tap. SUSTAINABLE WATER AND SEWER RATES
1. Clearview Water & Wastewater Rate Project Final Report Completed by Sharrett Water Managment Ltd, the executive summary (first 3 pages of the report) outlines the recommended rates as a result of the study done under Bill 175 - the Sustainable Water and Sewage Systems Act, 2002. The balance of the report provides background information supporting the recommendations. 2. Estimates of Replacement Costs for Water & Sewer Infrastructure Completed by R.J. Burnside and Associates Ltd, this is a summary of the extensive work completed to inventory the existing infrastructure assets, establish a replacement cost for each asset and identify anticipated replacement dates for each asset. 3. Notice to Landlords / Common Q & A Outlines how the new rates and rate structure will impact the billing of tenant occupied properties especially after July 1, 2007.
