Emergency Response

The Clearview Fire and Emergency Services (CFES) provides a range of emergency response services to the municipality and a portion of Grey County.
 
These services include but are not limited to:  
  • Structure fires
  • vehicle fires
  • grass fires
  • motor vehicle collisions
  • farm rescue
  • industrial rescue
  • haz-mat incidents
  • emergency medical response
  • fire alarm activations
  • carbon monoxide alarm activations
  • gas leaks
  • ice/water rescue and
  • public assist calls. 
 
CFES responds to an average of 650 calls for service each year. The department has a total of 16 vehicles on its roster. This includes 7 front line pumpers, 3 tankers, 1 rescue truck, 1 ATV, 1 spare pumper, 2 chief vehicles and 1 fire prevention vehicle. 
 
In the event of a large scale event, resources may be requested from adjoining departments through the Simcoe County mutual fire aid system.
