Notice- Tulip Blooming Celebration
CLEARVIEW, ON- In partnership with Stayner Collegiate Institute, Clearview Township is pleased to be hosting a Dutch-Canadian Tulip Garden Blooming Celebration. This event is free and open to the public. 
Event: Dutch-Canadian Tulip Garden Blooming Celebration
Date & Time: Friday, May 13th, 2016 at 1:00pm
Location: Fountain Park at Highway 26 & Oak Street, Stayner
  • 1:00pm- Welcome by Mayor Vanderkruys
  • 1:10pm– Singing of National Anthem by Ava Corbett
  • 1:15pm– Presentation by SCI Student Olivia Walker
  • 1:30pm– Photo Opportunity & Music by Jason Redman
  • 2:00pm- Closing Ceremony
The Tulip Gardens were planted in celebration of the first gift of Dutch Tulip Bulbs that were sent to Canadians in 1945 as a symbol of appreciation for the role Canadian soldiers played in the liberation of the Netherlands and the hospitality Canada provided to the Dutch Royal Family in Ottawa during WWII.
